Dolby Powers
Dolby Powers arrived in Bay City a few months ago and hit the ground running. More often than not seen in the company of Bart Grimm, Longfellow Reese, or Raymond McGowan, she seems to be an eccentric nouveau riche, as she appears to have no gainful employment...but is known around the city as being a generous tipper.
Rumors wonder if she's bulimic because she eats voraciously but never seems to gain any weight on her slim frame. Dolby's personality is all energy, which is the more likely explanation for the caloric consumption. She has the tendency to fidget and move around like a hyperactive six year old when happy. When angry, her temper bursts forth like a sudden summer storm -- quick and flashy, then passing brightly and returning to her usual sunny disposition.

If you can't respect that and keep the information out of the game unless you get it in the game, in an in character situation, please do not click on any of the logfile links. Thank you. All Characters appearing in logs other than Dolby, who is © 2002 Indigo, are © 2002 their players/creators. The logs at present are .txt files, so the formatting is a little off. I will probably HTML them when I have time.
The order the logs appear in is the chronological order in which they occurred.
In the Pink Dolby plays a prank on Reese that turns out differently than either of them thought it would... [See illustration: Pink! below]
Flowers At Trista's birthday celebration ... to Dolby's astonishment, both Reese and Grimm make their intentions clear. [See illustration: Flowers below]
Opening Night at Thaddeus' Grotto Dolby runs the roulette table and sings a little torch number...then things get really interesting.
The "Accident": Events leading up to and including the car accident that nearly killed Dolby. Special extra: The "Accident" from Reese's POV. There is some overlap.
Rat Hunt!: Grimm and Reese, after bidding Dolby goodbye, undertake the hunt for the one who has been trying to kill her.
Encounter at Midnight: Joaquin [Yes, he loves Dolby too, go figure] returns from a Quest in the Deep Dreaming, much changed. See illustration Midnight Encounter below.
Plans and Fireworks: Dolby, Sam and Leopold make some plans for the future of their kith -- and Leopold takes the time to cheer up a sad, lonely, grieving Dolby.
Windows: Literally and metaphorically. After discussing plans for the Power Station, Dolby and Leopold take a little downtime together.
Wildeblitz: After a rather tumultuous afternoon and evening, Leopold again manages to find just the right way to ease Dolby's tensions.
Aftermath: Various revealations and encounters after the Beltaine celebration and the post-alcoholic haze thereof.
A Small Problem: Dolby finds out the hard way that the shrink ray given her by Reynard works on more than just objects.
Omens, Portents, and Wakes: Dolby throws the wake for Kel -- and is upstaged by a harbinger of death. It just gets more interesting after that.

What do you mean I blinded you with science?!: Dolby's older sister Francesca, "Flash" Powers. It's an old picture. And yes, I played her on another MU*.
Brainglitch!: Dolby lounges on Reese's bed and completely discombobulates the poor man.
Pink: Reese finds himself unable to stay mad at a penitent Dolby who apparently is the reason he's bright pink.
In Case I Never Get Another Chance: Reese steals a kiss while he has the girl in question close by to steal one from.
Get Well Soon: A get well present for a bandaged Dolby.
Getting To Know You: Grimm decides he wants to get to know Dolby a little better.
Flowers: Grimm decides to make his intentions known to the girl he has his eye on.
Not Sleepin': Grimm and Dolby ... being intimate. Nudity and sexual situations. Do NOT click if you are offended by such or under the age of 18. UPDATE: Sorry, link no longer works, due to some 'mature' person thinking it terribly funny to post the URL to the Snark board and make fun of it. If I wanted my art made fun of, I'd post it such forums myself. And no, making fun of is not the same as criticism.
Encounter at Midnight: Dolby finds that Joaquin has returned from his quest ... rather changed.
Mourning Coat Dolby's friend Kel has died and she has decided that the only way to honor his last wish is to 'dress proper and go into politics'.
Scandal: Leopold and Dolby on Kel's balcony.
The Top: Leopold shares a treasured possession with Dolby.
Beltaine Day and Beltaine Night - Dolby's outfits for the spring festival.
Look Out Below! Dolby's joie de vivre and impulsive nature prompt her to take a leap with Leopold.
A Small Problem Dolby finds that an angry redcap is still scary, even if he's -- not the man he usually is.
